Rules of table tennis

Rules of table tennis:-

1. Table

The table should be 2.74m long, 1.52m broad and 0.76m high. The playing surface is preferably dark green provided with white stripes of 2cm wide along each edge. A net of 15.2cm high is adjusted in the middle of the teble. The stand to adjust the net emerges 15.25 cm out from the table.



2. Ball
The ball is white or yellow in colour with a diameter of 38mm and wight 2.5gm. It is made up of celluloid. While dropping the ball fro 30cm height, it should bounce 22-25cm from the table.

3. Bat
The bat may be of differet shapes but the thickness and the rubber used in the flat surface should be according to the rule. The colour of the rubber used in the bat on both sides should be different. The thickness of the rubber should not exceed more than 4mm.

Besides these, following are some other rules to be followed while playing the game.
-The game begins with a toss. The winner of the tosss either chooses the side or the service.
-If the server conducts wrong sevice or breaks the rally the opponent scores 1point and if the opponent breaks the rallym the server scores point.
-The server conducts service for 5times and than the turn changes. It continues till the end of the game i.e. 21 points.
-If the score of both the player or the team becomes 20 all , then any one of them has to lead the other by 2points to win the game.
              -If the ball touches the net but drops on the right place, it is considered as 'Let' and the service is conducted again.If the server conducts service before the opponent becomes ready than it is also considered as 'Let'.
-If any obstruction occurs during the play, the umpire announces 'Let' and again begins the game.
-The game is played in 3 or 5 sets. The players changes the side in each set. But in the last set they should change their side if any player or team scores 10 points.
-The player should ot touch the ball with anything except his bat or hand below the wrist.
-The player should not touch the playing surface of the table during the play.

Pool is a nice game. It needs ball and a board to play. Every people know about this game.It is the popular game.This game is mostly played by the standard people.It is a very nice game played inside the hall or it is a indoor game. This game is played with the long stick hitting the ball in the board . I love this game and like it too.But there is no favourable environment for to play this game.Many teenagers are lured by this game.They spent the time playing this game in the game hall. This game is good one which needs not to much effort just a technique is required to perform it. The golf counries are very forward in this game. They spent so much time to this game. I have heard it in news.It is true that the developed countries people are very careful to their health.So that they are to interested in games like this. As we can say that this game is interesting and one of the best game.This game pool is most popular in western countries. Their people are busy and intertaining themselves with this funny game.This game can be played in group as well as between two person also. This game is also played in developing countries. But not too much popular like this type of country. This not a joke that western people love this game very much. It is true that they are very    keenly interested in these types of game. They are very expert in these types of game. Pool is the intertaining game which can be played just with less spend of energy. It is an indoor game which can be played easily inside the game hall.

                    

My favourite game football

                              

My favourite game is football. I love this game to play and watch in television too. This game is too interesting and full of fun too. I use to play very much in my school days. I had a good football team at time. I miss my team now. I was the captain of my team. I was the guider of my team.My team had won several first prizes at time. Now I am busy in study and job.So that I am not giving too much time for this sector. But in off time I often go for play with my friends to play. I had won the best prizes several time in this game. I was the perfect player of this game at time. Still now I play good but not like that of past. I had forgotten many steps of playing this game. Anyway this game is my best one. I love it to play with my partners. I enjoy it with fun. I know various styles or techniques of this game. My school had awarded so many time at time. I was the real best player of that period. I miss my school days.

Football is that game which I use to play from childhood. We use to play with the socks ball. Later when I came with the age above 10  then I started to play with real football. This is too interesting to know about my keen interest in this game. As this is my best game that I love forever in my life.

Polo

Polo is one of the nice game. I didn’t play this game in my life upto this period.But I know how this game is played.This game is played riding a horse .There will be the two team to compete with each other. They ride the horse carries like a stick and go on hitting and passing ball with their team mates.The player should cross that line which is fixed for point by hitting the ball. This game is too nice. It is so interesting aswell.I love this game to watch. This game is not played in developing countries.But it is played only in developed countries. This game is a international game. It is very difficult to play but interesting to play as well.Everyone like this game.Developed countries lov this game very much to play.

Gymnastics

This is that game which is very difficult and dangerous one to perform. There will be a bar hanging and the player should jump over it and show different actions just hanging on it. There will be many players to compete with each other. It is very difficult to perform this game just hanging in bar.I like this game.That player who shows the best performance will win the game. It is the rule of the game. It is very famous all over the world.It is international game. Whole world know about this game. This game is too nice to watch or view but difficult to perform. One needs a lot of practice to perform it.I like this game to watch in TV . I enjoy it and all people too. This game helps to make our body strong,fit and healthy too. It is very important and the best game if we know how to perform well.

This game is not too easy to play but if we do a lot of training than we can do it easily. It is a very interesting game which can be done in a big ground. A lot of people had earned name and fame in this area. It is the game which is done in a very mass of people. It is not possible to perform in a developing countries.

Sports in Germany

It is very forward than other country. All the citizens are aware about their health and bright future. They are well educated and healthy too. They are too hard working and givers more priority to their health. Germany is very forward in sports. There is expert coach who gives training to their players. There is good government who only cares about the citizen. This is good to hear that there in not state like ours. All the games are played well by the players of this country. Many famous and medalize and awarded players are there. This is good to know that this country helps other country as well. It is very rich and developed country in every sector not only in games and sports. Many world cup awards have been got by this country too. I like this country and the people of this country as well. This country is very beautiful too. I love to go for visit to this place.

Basketball is very famous in America

America is the largest and developed country in the world.It is very forward than  other country.Sports are given to much priority in this country. This country is too rich and gives more development facility to its people.Basketball is that game which is mostly played in this country and other is football.This game is too popular in this country.The state has provided the good environment to all the these players.The players are provided with the coach and training is done always with expert coaching.The state is too much interested in this game and other too.Many famous players are there in this country. Those players are too skillful and talent that we cant imagine.This country is too forward in games and sports and in other things as well.America is known to be as the heaven.It is said by all people.May be it is true with the reports and news that we read daily in TV and in other medias as well.

frog Jump

Frog Jump is also a type of game.It is not a big game but played by a small children. This game is mostly played by small kids.It is played like a frog.A player should be like a frog and jump and should have to cross the targeted line .That player who crosses the line first will win the game.This is an interesting game played among kids.This game is too nice to kid.They like it too much to play.Even I use to play this game in my childhood days.I remember when I see playing this game by the small kids.It is too funny game for them.Frog Jump game is  to enjoyable game which provides fun for the audience as well as to the player too.

Golf

Golf is an most interesting and nice game.It is too nice game.I like it very much.This type of game is mostly played in foreign countries.It needs a large space to play.This game is to popular game.It is very famous in abroad.It played with like a stick and a ball.That particular stick hits the ball and should make it reach in targeted place.This game is difficult to play in my opinion.As I have never played this game up to this period.But also I like this game to watch in TV playing.It is interesting as well. May be less people like this game .Because those who dont understand about it feels boring to watch this game.But I know its rules and like it to play if I got this opportunity.

Chess

Chess is also a kind of game.This is an indoor game.There will be chess board to play with materials like elephant,queen,king,horse,camel,etc.In this game,a player has to use his technique or idea to win the game.The player should protect the king and try to kill opponent king and win the game.This game is too interesting to play but too booring to watch.This game takes a long time to finish.It can take more time.I lov this game to play and watch.I often play this game with my brother in house.People mostly play this game during off time. This is the nice game.I like it to play often and often. It develops our knowledge and skill aswell. This type of game is very usefull to like us.

Long Jump

Long Jump is also a kind of game.This game is easy to play.A player should have to jump as long as he can. The jumper should cover more space by jumping.There will be line to jump from and landing area will also be fixed aswell.This game is to easy to play but needs more effort to jump.That player who covers more area by jumping will win the game.He will be decided as the winner of the game.This game is funny and interesting one.It needs not more time to fininsh. It short game.It is too nice and good one too.Everyone like this game to play.I like this game very much. I play this game with my friend aswell.I used to play in school too. I had participated in school game and had won the first prize last 3 years ago.This game is very usefull to our health too.I keeps our body fit,strong and active.It is similar to physical exercise as well.

Ice hockey

Ice hockey is a famous game which is similar to hockey but difference is ,it is played in ice.It is very difficult game .It is played in ice ,so that player may get frostbite during play.It is too risky game.A player needs a lot of practice to play this game.It is too popular in foreign countries.But this game is not played like in ours country.Because we dont have ground to play and budget with state too.This game is too interesting to watch and play aswell. I like this game and other people too.This game is played so nice in ice that  we go on looking and looking. We love this game very much and lov to play if time favours.This game is too nice,I like it to play with my friends but that is not possible from me because we dont have that area to play. This game is world famous game. It is very well known by all people. I love it to watch in team and play.

Horse riding

Horse riding is also a kind of game.This game is mostly played in foreign country.This game is a popular one.This game is played with riding horse.There will be opponent players to compete.It is too dangerous too.I like this game very much.This game is interesting to play and watch playing as well. This game is very famous and played mostly in abroad.They like this game too much and play often and often. This is very skillfull game and too dangerous to perform. In this game a player can injured by falling from the horse.A player should be too carefull while playing this game.It needs a lot of practice to play it.This game is not played in developing countries like ours.This game has lured to many people towards it. This game is most funny and interesting to watch.A horse should be control while playing and targeted line should be cross to win at first. In this way this game is played.

Table Tennis

Table tennis is an indoor game,which can be played as singles,doubles or mixed doubles. It is played on a table provided with a net in the middle and a light ball is thrown across the net with the help of bat.

The exact time and place for the origin of this game is not known till now due to lack of proper records.But the credit goes to England for the development of this game.Sir James Gibbs developed this game in England in 1889 A.D. At the very first, this game was called Gossima and later it was called Ping Pong and in 1922 A.D. it was renamed as Table tennis. For the further development of this game,'The International Table tennis Federation' was established in 1926 A.D. In 1927A.D. the first world  championship was organised which helped a lot to spread this game in different parts of the world. the game begins with a toss. The winner of the toss chooses either the side or conduct the service. In singles a player conduct sevice for five times regularly and the turn to conduct service changes. But in doubles the team to conduct service decides the player to conduct the service first and the opponents also decide the player to receive the service. After completing the five services, when the former server receives the service.Again after completing 5services the turn changes and the second player of the first team becomes the server and the next player of the second team becomes the receiver. They too conduct the services for 5times each.

The player or team to score 21points first becomes the winner. If both the team obtain 20 points each,than any one of them has to lead by 2points to win the game.
Point is scored by a player or team if the opponent breaks the rally,throws ball outside the table,hit the net with the ball and does not cross,touches the table with his hand while playing,etc.

Basic skills of table tennis:-
Different basic skills are necessary to be a good table tennis player. Some of the basic skills have been discussed briefly below.
1. Stance:
Stance is the position in which the player becomes ready to hit the ball. In this position, the right-handed player should stand with his left foot a bit forward and look at the opponent. He should slightly bend his body and hold the bat just above the table facings the bat towards the opponent as shown in the figure:

2.Grip:
The process of holding the bat is called grip. Generally,there are two methods of holding bat. They are; shake-hand grip and pen-hold grip. In shake-handle of the bat whereas in pen-hold grip , the bat is gripped with thumb and fore-finger similarly as we hold pen.






3. Stroke:
Hitting ball with the bat is called stroke. In table tennis, we apply push stroke and drive to hit the ball.
There are two types of stroke;
a. Push stroke
b.Drive stroke

4. Service:
Service is done to begin the game or rally.It is condidered  be one of the continuously in their turn. In service, the ball is kept on the palm of an open hand and is shown forward. It is then thrown upward. The ball should be stroke in such a way that it crosses the net.Service is done in two different ways ; forehand service and back hand service.
Forehand service is performed from the right hand side. The ball can be delivered in different ways such as backspin, sidespin, etc.. Here we discuss about forehand service and back hand service.
The ball should be held on the open palm and the bat should be held at an open angle near the ball. Now, the ball is thrown up and stuck from up to deliver the ball down across the net.

Badminton

Badminton is a kind of game which is played in a court. It needs a bat and a cock to play it. A court is their to play this game. There will be at least to player in each side or one to compete with each other. This game is similar to volleyball. The player should hit the cock with the bat and drop in opponent side court. There will be net in between two players. A good skill is need to play this game.This game is also a international game.It is a very famous game too.It is played by everyone.It is easy to play aswell. I like this game very much and I play still.THis game keeps our body fit,strong,healthy and active aswell.This game is played in all countries.There very famous badminton players in the world.They have won different kinds of awards and prizes for their game.As we can say that this game is too nice and interesting one.

Swimming

Swimming is most interesting game.This game is very famous all over the world.Everyone like this game.I also like it very much.This game is played in water. It is very harsh to inside water.It needs a lot of practise.This game is too popular in out countries. It is very competative one.A good skill of swimming is needed to play it.Every people love this game very much .It is very interesting to watch this game and to play as well.Mostly the foreighners love this game very much.They love it very much to play.It is world famous game.This game is to important to our health as it makes our body fresh and healthy.

Jumping

Jumping is a simple game or exercise.It is played by all. A practice is needed to play this game. There will be a bar and the player has to cross it by jumping. A player has to cross it without touching.That player who crosses with touching it can win the game.The bar will be soft and it is place with the measurement of feet.It might be placed by six feet or etc.This game is very famous in and out countries. A lot of people have keen interest in this game.It is most enjoying game as well. It needs a lot of practise in jumping.Then only the player can win the game otherwise not.As this game has more important.It is famous too.I like this game very much.

Martiall art

Marshal art is an interesting game.This game is fighting game.A player has to fight with his opponent team and has to win the game.This game is famous all over the world.This game is mostly played by Chinese. They are the masters of this game.They are too intelligent in this game.Brushlee was the hero of this game at his time and still now he is supposed to be. A perfect fighter only can do this game.A brave player is needed to play this game.A lot of pracitice is also needed to play it.So,one most have to do lot of practice to play it .This game is also an international game.There are famous marshal art player.They are very famous with their skill.
